Types of contributions

A: Invited Keynote papers from recognised experts.

These will be published subject to normal refereeing in either the Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology :B or Photochemistry and Photobiology (distribution between the journals depends upon topic). Currentl the hope is that they will also be on the CD-ROM version of the conference proceedings as well.

B: Contributed Papers.

These will subjected to an initial check by the conference organising committee. The final published version will be subject to independent refereeing and published on CD-ROM by Elsevier. Papers will expected to report new scientific results, although some discussion of previous work by the authors was acceptable.

Authors are encouraged to make full use of 'multimedia' techniques in their paper, and in particular the use of "hyperlinks" within papers that add value to the discussion. Groups can submit more than one paper if they are on significantly different topics, and can also contribute posters.

B: Posters.

It will also be possible to submit posters. These will be removed from the conference site after Dec 12 (the abstract will be retained in the Internet Journal of Science). You are then free to publish it elsewhere. Hence posters are suitable for preliminary work or where the authors would like to submit it elsewhere after the conference is over. The normal restrictions on poster length etc do not apply.
