DO
Use
colour in graphs and figures, but exercise the restraint
appropriate to a scientific journal. For example, heading and
subheadings may be in a different colour to the main text
(black). However, it should be remembered that subtle effects
such as shading may look impressive on a hi-res 21 inch monitor,
but would be completely lost on 14 inch monitor with just 16
colours.
All
file names in lower case i.e. home.htm
not HOME.HTM
Put
the title, authors, address and abstract in a file separate from
the rest of the manuscript, call it abstract.htm. The arrangment
of the rest of the files is up to you.
DO NOT
Use
background images/wallpaper. If you do, I will delete them.
Use
dark background colours with light text. Use light coloured
backgrounds with dark (mainly black) text, i.e. like this page
Use
large images. If you must use an image over 25k, then provide a
thumbnail image (a minature version about 100x100 pixels) and a
link to the bigger version
