PHOTOCHEMICAL BEHAVIOUR OF A TRYPTOPHANYL ESTER OF RIBOFLAVIN

Abstract.- The photochemical behaviour of a tryptophanyl ester of riboflavin was studied. Both aerobic and anaerobic visible light (450nm) irradiation produced photodegradation of both flavinic and indolic components of the ester. The importance of a radical mechanism is discused.
