Redistribution of DNA infrared bands in the polarized

spectra under the weak electromagnetic field

ABSTRACT

Vibrational bands of DNA molecules from birds' erythrocytes in the weak microwave field were investigated with IR spectroscopy. Drastic changes were detected in the intensities and fine structure of C=O and PO2 bands for polarized spectra of irradiated samples of DNA molecules as compared with the reference samples in the 1700-1000 cm-1 region.
